The link between our business units, production, and logistics is the Supply Chain department, which manages all connected supply chains – directly and indirectly – across departments, interfaces, and locations. We are looking for a long-term collaboration with you – bring your expertise to this unit and learn more about this exciting opportunity!

 

A Job That Fulfills You:

  • As a Supply Chain Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring that our products arrive where they are needed, when they are needed, in the right quantity, quality, and packaging – all while considering cost efficiency, production capabilities, and plant availability.
  • You plan and optimize production sequences in reactors and packaging lines, managing unexpected events or production constraints and setting priorities to maximize operational results.
  • Your role is regional (EMEA), meaning you work in synergy with our plants across the region – Ravenna (IT), Cologne (DE), Malmö (SE), Jaslo (PL), Berre-l'Étang (FR), and Nelson Mandela Bay (RSA) – sharing experiences and best practices to ensure efficiency and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Beyond operational planning, you actively participate in cross-functional projects and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to the ongoing transformation of Orion S.A.

 

A Profile That Excites Us:

  • A technical diploma or a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field, combined with practical experience, is the foundation for success in this role.
  • Your commitment to continuous learning is a strong asset – certifications such as ASCM - CPIM or similar demonstrate your dedication and desire for growth.
  • Experience with ERP systems is essential, particularly SAP for production planning and management. Show us that you can navigate this environment with confidence.
  • In this role, you will serve as a key interface between production, logistics, customer service, quality management, purchasing, and accounting. Therefore, we expect excellent communication skills, a clear understanding of processes, and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • English is your primary working language, and you handle it with confidence.
  • This position requires willingness to travel.

 

 

Key Position Details:

Full-time (37.75 hours per week) | Permanent contract | Location: Ravenna (Italy) | 21.5 vacation days per year | Salary range: €45,000 - €55,000 across 14 monthly payments (according to the Chemical Industry Collective Agreement).
